Sandra Holser on designing the Oscars costumes: “It went like clockwork” – dpa

Sandra Holser was happy with the support she received for her fashion during Oscars week. On the red carpet in front of the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Sunday for the Academy Awards, she presented an elegant black dress with very large lapels, which she wore with a long elegant ponytail.

“It's absolutely crazy,” the 45-year-old said of her style in an interview with ProSieben. “I'm very lucky with the people who help me. Of course I can't do it alone, I don't even know how. It really went like clockwork and by the end we were having more and more fun trying things out. And now we're here.”

Holser, who was born in Suhl and lives in Leipzig, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “Anatomy of a Case.” She also stars in the drama “The Zone of Interest” which was also nominated for several Academy Awards.

She was also interviewed on the carpet by a team from the BBC, ITV. She was asked about the two nominated films in which she appeared. “I still can't believe this is true,” Holser said. When asked who was the first person to write to her this morning to wish her well, she said there were quite a few. She wasn't expecting that at all. “I'll answer them all then.”
