Linz. LIVA Houses celebrate the end of the lust for life season – on July 3 in Donaupark and at Brucknerhaus Linz. Plenty of programming from all homes – from concerts to children’s programs to sports, admission is free.
Brucknerhaus, Posthof, Kuddelmuddel, LIVA Sport and Linz Marathon invite you to a big summer festival at the end of the 2021/22 season. On July 3 there will be concerts, children’s programmes, pop-up sports, guided tours and much more with free admission to the Donaupark Linz and throughout the Brucknerhaus.
The most beautiful melodies of the operetta
It begins at 11 am with Sunday on the stage of the Donaupark, where the most beautiful melodies from opera and operetta will be heard. Ditmar Kirschbaum, director of Brucknerhaus, will be heard as a taut, and will also sing as Rinat Beechaeider, Krista Ratzenbock and Martin Akrener. Philharmonices Mundi will play under favorite Joseph Sabini.
Opening doors for the whole family
Thereafter, many program elements begin in and around Brucknerhaus throughout the day. For an exclusive behind-the-scenes look, Jan-David Schmitz, Head of Program Planning, Plays and Scenic Projects, answers what’s unheard of in “Jans Jukebox” about the upcoming season. The team at Junges Brucknerhaus offers highlights for children as well as home tours for families.
In the afternoon, Posthof presents the young Austrian top multi-talented Roemer on stage in Donaupark as pianist for his own songs as well as “piano man” David Wagner & Co, with a captivating improvisation show in the center of Brucknerhaus Hall.
Lena Magdalena & Band will bring jammers with them, while pedestrians on stilts, clowns and others will provide the air of the circus.
LIVA Sport already offers pop-up football, volleyball and table tennis from the morning. In cooperation with ASKÖ DSZ Linz, all darts lovers can also measure themselves on the disc, and the “Hole in One” challenge will be held on the pop-up mini golf course.
Entry is free, tickets are counted
Admission to the entire program on this Sunday special is free. For events and guided tours indoors at the Brucknerhaus, free tickets will be available online from Monday, June 27 via bucknerhaus.at And on site at the Brucknerhaus Service Center as well as on Sunday 3 July at the LIVA information tent in Donaupark. In bad weather, a modified program is implemented at Brucknerhaus Linz.
